Well, this is good and necessary but is it enough?
The challenge with requirements is that it is often limited to “we need x, y, and z”. However, is x,y, and z what is really needed for the organization to achieve its objectives? Needs and expectations might sound like other terms for ‘requirements’ but they are not.
Expectations are often linked to a mindset, an outcome, a result but it is might not be easy for a client to express their expectations properly and convert them onto requirements.
